about SOFTRITE / our history

Softrite (Pvt) Ltd is one of the leading suppliers of Payroll Software in Zimbabwe with over 600 independent clients throughout the country.

Our Head Office is in Harare and we have branch offices in Bulawayo and Mutare as well as Software Representatives in Masvingo, Gweru and Victoria Falls

The company started operating 25 years ago initially offering in-house accounting software written in that old stalwart programming language called Cobol. We decided to specialise in Payroll software soon after our inauguration and wrote our first package in 1985.

Our current software package is an easy to use Windows based system called ADASKI. The name ADASKI was derived from the first letters of the names of the Managing Director's children, ADam, AShleigh and KImberley.

Softrite's main objective has always been to have an easy to use Payroll Software package that gives users as much information as they need to run their Salaries and or Wages on a single user Computer.

Softrite staff are very friendly and are all sufficiently competent to give good, timely advice on the implementation of ADASKI related to the unusual economic enviroment that we in Zimbabwe have become accustomed to over the last few years.

ADASKI was written and is maintained by our Managing Director, Mike Garden. Any changes to the system are included in a compressed computer file that is stored on this web site. Clients wanting the latest release of ADASKI simply call up the web page, click on the latest release and then save it to their computer.

ADASKI is constantly being improved and amended to suit the latest requirements for PAYE, NSSA and similar basics that are necessary in Zimbabwe.

Mike is in constant email contact with all his offices and clients can contact him here with any suggestions that they feel should be included in future releases of ADASKI.
